who was that masked lawn ornament?

i'm still cleaning out my "studio" room and i stumbled across this today. another forgotten sketch.

at times, i take my sketchbook into the comicbook shop here. for me, it's a place to geek and hang out, play board games, etc
but the question you inevitably get asked when take a sketchbook into the comic shop here is:
"can you draw my d&d character?"
i've said yes on a few occasions when i needed drawing practice and my mind was blank on what i should draw.
one day, while in the shop, alex asked me to draw a sketch and began to tell me abou his character.
"he's a gnome ranger..."
at which point my brain immediatly thought "hi-oh, silver, away!" >8^)P i'm pathetic.
so, because i can't resist the pun i sketched up the gnome ranger. i still haven't finished the real sketch for alex, though. i'm bad.
