i've been thinking more and more that the character of amelia will become a musician. plus this was just fun to draw. besides the guitar, i'm also thinking of having her play the mandolin.

Went to my first TMBG concert this past weekend, with girlwithoutfear. it was very awesome. TMBG put on a good show. the opening band was great, too. got their cd and a giants sticker for my little car.
i'm working on a sketch to commerate this historic event. will post it soon. right now, flansy is drawn, but linnell is hard to capture on paper.
the only down thing is that ken couldn't be here with me. he loved the giants as much as i do and i know he would've had so much fun at the concert. i kept imagining him there, expecting to see him by me if i turned my head.

edit (11-7-07) girlwithoutfear pointed out that in this sketch, amelia's a leftie. but back on the quilt project, she remembers we discussed which hand amelia would play with and she's a rightie. *blushes* sorry 'bout that.
